London Football Comedy Premiere Competition for Aston Villa Supporters

Are you in London or can get to London this Thursday April 21st? Fancy going to a film premiere? Then enter this...

If you thought the only football comedy in London was when the Aston Villa circus pulls up to the Emirates for the last game of the season against Arsenal, you’d be wrong. MOMS has three pairs of tickets to the Premiere for the British football-based comedy Kicking Off this Thursday, 21st April to give away to readers in a quick and simple competition.

Kicking Off features cameos from Robbie Savage, Mark Bright & Geoff Hurst. Those guys and other Premier League players are expected to be at the film premiere too. Maybe if Gabby Agbonlahor attends, you’ll get to go back to his hotel room and do happy crack with him, while he plays with your flies?!

The film funnily enough follows two loyal football fans Wigsy (Warren Brown – TV’s Luther, Inside Man) and Cliff (Greg McHugh – TV’s Fresh Meat, Gary Tank Commander) whose team is having a nightmare of a season (that story sounds familiar…). Their team faces an important final game. Win: they stay up. Lose: they go down. In the dying moments of the match, unbelievable elation as their team score is immediately followed by unbelievable deflation as the Ref (Alistair Petrie – TV’s The Night Manager, Utopia) disallows the goal. This, compounded by a goal at the other end, sends the losing supporters into a frenzy; and determined to right this injustice, Wigsy, with a more reluctant Cliff in tow, decides to do the only decent thing…and kidnap the referee.

  1. All looks good except for Robbie Savage. If there is an edition which does not feature him I would be interested.

Lets not forget that natural born gentleman, Dion Dublin, was sent off for headbutting the wind up man in a villa – blues derby a few years ago. Forgive Mr Savage? Possibly if he ever admits defeat and goes off air.

But forget? No way. trevor fisher.
