Aston Villa Face Mass April Fixture Shake-up

Aston Villa’s April 2023 Fixtures

Aston Villa’s home clash against Nottingham Forest on Saturday April 8th and their away clash at Brentford are the only two of their [now] seven April fixtures to escape having their original dates changed.

Villa’s April Fool’s Day clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, April 1, will now kick-off at 5:30pm as it will now be broadcast on Sky Sports.

Sandwiched in-between Chelsea and the Forest clash at Villa Park will be the postponed September game at Leicester City, which has now been slated for a 7.45pm kick-off on Tuesday, April 4.

Bad news for those, like MOMS, that don’t like 12.30pm kick-offs, as the home clash with Newcastle United has been selected by BT Sport, so will have the lunch time kick-off on Saturday, April 15. At least, it’s not an away game.

Villa’s final game of April, a trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United, has been moved to Sunday, April 30, and will kick-off at 2pm.
