My Old Man Said Podcast Incoming…

With the start of Aston Villa’s brief one season stay (hopefully) in the Championship kicking off away against Sheffield Wednesday, it’s the perfect time to wish the team the best of luck and also to announce the new My Old Man Said podcast, the first edition of which will be out today.

See if you recognise these two ‘Villa legends’ wishing the club and Villa supporters well for the Championship season ahead in this podcast teaser.

Also, get ready for a sneak preview of Tony Xia’s tweets as you’ve never heard them before…

With the My Old Man Said podcast, expect something a little different from the standard football podcast and also a few laughs.

The podcast is a stand alone show and also features Dan Rodgers of the Villa Underground blog, who has certainly added a dose of ‘A Venglos View’ fun to the podcast.

The show also ends with an audio version of the old MOMS favourite ‘Five Reasons to be Cheerful as Villa Fans’.

Now MOMS has managed to almost master editing audio – in two nights that went into the early hours –  we hope to bring you weekly shows. If you’re a MOMS Patron you’ll also have access to exclusive extra shows and also some humourous outtake shows too.

The My Old Man Said podcast show will be available shortly on itunes, Stitcher and Soundcloud.

If you want to be a guest on the show or have any ideas for it, please do let us know.

Anyway, fingers crossed for the new season, it’s promotion or bust time. Whatever it takes!
