Aston Villa Match Selected for Sky TV With Additional One Possible

Preston TV

Aston Villa’s tricky away trip to Preston North End has been selected for Sky TV on Wednesday night November 1st at 7.45pm.

The fixture had originally been slated for October 31, however, it was moved to November 1 earlier in the season due to Villa playing Birmingham City the previous Sunday.

Villa will be looking for better fortune at Deepdale than last season, where a 2-0 defeat proved to be Roberto Di Matteo’s last game as Villa boss.

The fixture follows hot on the heels of the two televised away derbies in October.

Sat 14: Wolves v Aston Villa (5.30pm)

Sun 29: Birmingham City v Aston Villa (12pm)

Three out of Villa’s next four games are now on Sky TV.

Extra TV Game?

The EFL announced that the focus for the latest round of TV selected fixtures was ‘the battle for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship across November and December’.

With that in mind, the fixtures for the weekend December 1-3 are yet to be announced, but should be in the next few days. So look out for that as there maybe a potential kick-off/date change for Villa’s trip to Leeds United on December 2nd, if the game is selected since it does fit the ‘battle for promotion’ bill.
