Aston Villa Preseason Fixtures 2022

With an Australian tour already confirmed and a trip to Rennes in the offering, Aston Villa this week released details of their now annual trip to Walsall, where they will visit the newly named Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday, July 9th to kick-start the pre-season.

Villa have been allocated 3,370 tickets for the 1pm kick-off.

Continental Friendlies

Australia

Steven Gerrard’s boys will play three matches Down Under across both Queensland and Western Australia.

Villa will travel to Brisbane to compete in the three-team Queensland Champions Cup, facing Leeds United on Sunday, July 17 at the Suncorp Stadium.

They will then take on A-League side Brisbane Roar at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Wednesday, July 20.

Villa then travel west to Perth to take on Manchester United in the ICON Festival of Football, on Saturday, July 23 at the Optus Stadium.

Tickets are currently on sale for all of the Aussie fixtures, while the club will be screening the games on Villa TV.

North France

After their trip Down Under, Villa will then head to France to take on Stade Rennais on Saturday, July 30. Kick-off at Roazhon Park will be 6pm local time.

The 2022/23 Premier League season will then get underway on the following weekend of August 6/7.
