If you haven’t listened to the My Old Man Said podcast, episode 40 is probably a good example of some of the up tempo, free-flowing, high jinx and claret and blue discussion on offer.

First up, co-presenter Dan Rodgers stumbles across a bit of a fiery Game of Thrones Season Eight exclusive when he was on trip to Belfast last week, where he was staying in the same hotel the Games of Thrones’ ginger John Carew.

Then there’s the sad tale of a Norwegian’s first ever trip to Villa Park, when he flew over to go to the Burton game.

Dele Alli’s alleged sex tape has us spinning off on a tangent to recall some of the infamous past public sexual behaviour of Villa players, before linking somehow to the Villa vs Burton (it’s a good link!).

On a more serious note, we look at Villa’s winning record and Derby’s unbeaten record, plus, there’s further praise for the efforts of Mr Jack Grealish and we look at Scott Hogan’s latest touch count. The boy’s literally improving one touch every week.

There’s mention of the Blues game, although there’s another preview episode on that game incoming.
