Aston Villa Shirt Exchange: Replace Old Fabian Delph Shirts etc With Free New One

Aston Villa Shirt Exchange Opportunity

Did you burn your Fabian Delph shirt after the former Villa midfield snaked and lied his way out of Villa Park? If so, then it might be too late to take advantage of what we’re about to tell you.

On Saturday at around 11am at The Aston Tavern (Aston Hall Road, Aston B6 6LA), Carling’s Shirt Amnesty van is set to turn up in what Carling call ‘a campaign to support football fans across the country during the summer transfer window’.

What does this mean?

Basically, Villa supporters have the opportunity to swap their shirt with the name of a recently sold player on the back for a new one, launched earlier this month.

MOMS called up the Carling rep and checked out the situation and there’s NO CATCH and you can even take a player that has left the club in the past three seasons. Yes, that means you can even take a Stephen Ireland shirt and exchange it for a new shirt!

Shirt Conditions

1) Be from one of the last three seasons. That’s the 12/13, 13/14 or 14/15 seasons.
2) Have a player’s name on the back who has now left
3) Be an adult size shirt.
4) No charred remains of Delph shirts

The new shirt offered will be the new home shirt only.

The van will arrive at The Aston Tavern around 11am and all fans (over 18s only) have to do is bring down their old shirt and Carling will replace it for a new one, free of charge.

Simple as that.

Carling have also informed us that the old shirts will go to charity.

Get there early

We’ve been told they’ll be a couple of hundred of new shirts up for grabs. Apparently in the two previous Carling Shirt Amnesty’s this season, all the shirts went at Southampton, but there were still some left over from the Liverpool one.
