Aston Villa’s August and September TV Broadcast Changes Announced

Aston Villa have had four of their Premier League fixtures selected for live television broadcast in August and September, with a further match also moved.

The club’s first home game of the season against Everton has been moved forward in the day and will now kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday, August 13, live on BT Sport.

Later in the month, Villa’s home encounter against West Ham United will take place on Sunday, August 28 (ko 2pm) due to the Hammers’ involvement in the UEFA Europa Conference League (this is not a TV fixture in the UK).

This switch against the Hammers has subsequently seen Villa’s trip to Arsenal move to Wednesday, August 31 (ko 7.30pm), and it will be screened live on BT Sport.

Steven Gerrard’s boys will host the side they finished the 2021/22 campaign away to, when reigning champions Manchester City visit Villa Park on Saturday, September 3, with kick-off now at 5.30pm and screening on Sky Sports.

Villa will also have their home match against Southampton screened on Sky Sports, with the Villa Park encounter being moved forward to the Friday, on September 16 (ko 8pm).

The four live broadcast fixtures join the two fixtures against Fulham and Liverpool already announced for broadcast on Amazon Prime.
