Preview of Aston Villa’s Trip to Molineux
This week, the media reported Aston Villa laying the foundations for upping the ambitions of next season, by getting in Barcelona Sporting Director Mateu Alemany. This weekend though, it’s all about setting the foundations for what can be achieved this season, as Villa travel to Wolves to hopefully set up an exciting end to this season.
A win at Molineux for Villa would set up a blockbuster clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park next weekend, which would have a huge significance to the eventual Europa League places. With Liverpool the hot favourite to get fifth place this season, sixth is set up for a dramatic finale between Villa, Spurs and Brighton.
