Details of Aston Villa Mosaic Display at Wembley Stadium for Play-off Final

Aston Villa are planning to have a mosaic display at Wembley Stadium before the play-off final kicks off against Derby County.

Villa supporters who attended the FA Cup semi-final in 2015 against Liverpool will be familiar with the size of the mosaic, which will be in blocks 130-137 behind the goal.

From the information provided on the club’s Guide to Wembley, supporters will be issued with flags to hold up stretched out to create the mosaic.

The club have confirmed it’s a unique display to Villa, like the one against Liverpool was, rather than being part of a staged Wembley presentation of the final for television, with Derby County also having a similiar mosaic.

The Rams will also be doing something, so it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top in terms of the pre-match visuals.

The club’s play-off guide states:

Flag Display:

The club will be providing all fans with a flag to form a mosaic across the West end of Wembley.

We’re asking fans seated specifically in Block 130-137 to hold their flags stretched out as the players enter the pitch to help form a specific mosaic behind the goal.

Other Flags

Fans are reminded that unless they have requested permission from Wembley Stadium in advance to get their own big flags in, they will be limited to a flag size of 250cm max ‘at the widest or longest point’.
