It’s feels like a while now since referee Kevin Friend denied Aston Villa a valuable point, through his shocking 96th minute decision, which would have put a different spin on the Premier League table going into the international break.
Villa go into the Monday night clash against West Ham sat in the bottom three of the table. While it’s too early to take any credence from the table at this stage, it won’t help the players psychologically if they’re still there after the Hammers’ clash.
In the latest MOMS Podcast episode, we look at West Ham’s main threat, Sébastien Haller, a striker that cost the Hammers over twice as much than what Villa spent on Wesley.
Chris Budd also puts forward his case for Marvelous Nakamba starting ahead of Douglas Luis, Conor Hourihane and co in the Villa midfield.
Also, on the show, we look at the latest Villa issues that occurred over the international break, from the opportunity that Tyrone Mings has in front of him internationally for England and Jack Grealish’s self-proclaimed need for improvement on his form during the first four games of the season.
