England moved comfortably into the semi-finals of Euro2020 without the need to utilise Villa’s Jack Grealish, as Gareth Southgate once again proved to be his own man. England are now in a strong position and will fancy their chances of winning the tournament – from boasting home advantage for the remainder of the tournament, to being a team with several cards up their sleeve to play.
In the MOMS match reaction episode to England’s convincing 4-0 win over the Ukraine, we look at the why Jack Grealish wasn’t needed and what his role could be, if England are going to win the Euros. We also look at what Gareth Southgate has built since the World Cup in Russia and cast an eye on the Euro2020 threats that lay ahead in the form of Denmark, Italy and Spain.
It’s time for the Grealish fanboys to finally give Southgate some respect, and like the rest of us, get ready for a hell of a week of international football. The likes of which don’t come around frequently enough for England.
