Discounted Aston Villa Third Shirt
After much delay the new Aston Villa third kit, that makes it’s debut at the Eithad Stadium when Villa travel to Manchester City this weekend, is available now to buy.
The design takes it lead from the colour scheme of the infamous away version of the Muller kit from the seasons between 1993-95. The unexpected colour scheme then was a throwback further still to the 19th Century. Villa wore a green home shirt back in1884 and prior to that, between 1878-80, played in a black shirt with a red lion on the front.
The pattern on the 2019/20 third kit is inspired by the stained glass that is a feature of the stadium, particularly the Holte End.
To get 10% off the new Aston Villa third shirt, simply use the code MOMS10 at Villa Store here .
With the increasing costs of club shirts, MOMS is glad to at least save you at least some pennies along the way. The code will work on anything in the Villa store, so could come in useful for the old Christmas shopping as well.
As with the home and away shirts, remember, with Kappa, it’s best to go a size up from what you normally would.
Villa had some good times wearing the old muller away kit, which featured on the run to Wembley, when Villa lifted the 1994 League Cup, so hopefully it’ll have similar fortunes in its outings this season.
It’s something of a baptism of fire making its debut outing at the home of the Champions. Although, Villa managed to beat Citeh 4-2 there, after extra-time in the League Cup, wearing the fluorescent lime green away kit, so anything is possible!
