Aston Villa Away Shirt 2020/21
Aston Villa’s away kit for the 2020/21 season will be a return to the all-black away design that has appeared at least once a decade since the turn of the century. In the 2000-2001 season the NTL sponsored Diadora 2000-2001 away shirt was the first black one since the 1883-84 alternative shirt.
Villa had actually played in a black home shirt back for a couple of years from 1878, so the colour has had deep historical roots to the club.
Kappa, in its second year of being the club’s shirt provider, have noticeably improved their designs from last season, with the training wear a noticeable step up, going for a more minimalist and classy design style.
Kappa’s 2020/21 version with it’s claret pinstripes and sky blue trim is one of the best black Villa kits in MOMS opinion, and arguably a challenger to the Nike ‘FXPro’ sponsored away strip of the 2010-2011season.
The new Kappa away shirt, like the home shirt, has gone up two pounds from last season to £57, while the ‘Pro’ match day shirt has jumped a tenner up to £90.

The second one has prices about, but not exactly, 10% more. I am buying from overseas. Obviously for cheaper prices double check the web address.
