If Carlsberg did Christmas speeches…
Since the Queen seems to forget to mention football in her annual end of year Christmas speech, the Carlsberg Fan Squad has got together with one of their leading members Jeff Stelling to deliver the ‘King’s Speech’ covering the year of 2014 in football.
While it might not have been the most spectacular year in terms of performances on the pitch for Aston Villa there was certainly a lot going off it. In the football world at large though, it was quite year, lit up by a marvellous World Cup in Brazil that was one of the best in recent memory.
