Villa Park Saturday 3pm’s Return as Villa Fly Under the TV Radar in March

Two Villa Park Saturday 3pm’s Confirmed

While those closer to B6 know there’s a revolution brewing at Villa Park, Sky Sports and co have left Aston Villa alone to get on with it, when it comes to picking their TV schedule for the month of March. Villa will be left to operate under the radar with none of their games being selected for broadcast in the UK.

Hopefully by the next time Villa pop up for UK broadcast in April, they’ll be spoken about in terms of battling for the European spots (as opposed to being “11 points above the relegation zone”!).

The Premier League today announced (actually on time) the altered fixture list for broadcasting and Villa have retained two Saturday 3pm kick-offs in March. I’ll repeat that again, they’ll be two 3pm Saturday kick-offs at Villa Park. It almost feels like the good old football days again!

West Ham Away Date Change

There will be one change in March, due to West Ham’s Europa Conference League exploits, Villa’s trip there in March has been pushed back to a Sunday, March 12th, 2pm kick-off. The game was originally slated for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, March 11 (ko 3pm).

After Villa’s home clash against Bournemouth on March 18th, they have two-weeks off before they face Chelsea on Saturday, April 1st (subject to date change for broadcasting).
