The Help Aston Villa Sell Alan Hutton Campaign

 Help Villa Sell Alan (Hutton)

It’s time for Villa fans to quit moaning about buying lower-league players and help your club Aston Villa sell Alan Hutton…since they don’t seem to be doing much of a job of it at the moment.

Together, with the club and fans united as one, we can pull this off, and Alan can be playing first-team football again…somewhere else.

AH – was his ability linked to his hair?

Since we can’t float him on the stock exchange, as it’s closed now for the weekend, and due to a zero budget, MOMS started a #HelpVillaSellAlan Twitter campaign instead.

Hutton… part of a double transfer nightmare last season

In case you don’t bother with Twitter (and who can blame you), here’s a sample of tweets that were sent out during the final hours of the deadline window, in the hope of gaining some interest to help find Alan a new club:

Errr…. International right-back available on the cheap. Must go tonight. Pl RT  #helpvillasellalan

Tweet championship clubs with a tip-off about an international right back who’s available. #helpvillasellalan

I’m a qualified doctor and I’d like to state Alan Hutton is fit like a butcher’s dog. No need to waste time on a medical. #helpvillasellalan

Add your club to Alan Hutton’s prestigious CV of Villa, Spurs and Rangers. Just think about the honour! #helpvillasellalan

Versatility is Alan Hutton’s middle name. Witness him as a right-midfielder for Villa last season at White Hart Lane! #helpvillasellalan

We need to agree terms on Hutton? Nah, just cover his taxi or train fare from Villa Park and he’s yours! #helpvillasellalan

Fingers-crossed it’ll work and  young Alan is wearing a shirt that isn’t claret and blue or lime very soon.
