What’s Samatta Deeney? Villa Experience Season-Defining Week

What’s Samatta Deeney?

It was a dramatic and potentially season-defining night at Villa Park as Watford came seeking to do the double over their relegation rivals. A six-point swing to the Hornets would have seen Villa growing roots in the relegation zone, but alas after an injury-time 2-1 win, they escaped the drop zone.

In a bonus My Old Man Said podcast show (episode 96.5 – press ‘play’ above), David and Chris look back at a Villa Park night that travelled a full spectrum of emotion. Along the way, we contemplate the questions that Douglas Luis, Danny Drinkwater and the Villa back three, all throw up.

Plus, we also look at the incoming striker Mbwana Samatta.

This show is dedicated to the Villa Park ball boys at Villa Park on Tuesday night – good job lads!
